Re-opening Letter January 2022

03.01.22

Good afternoon,

Happy New Year to you all, I hope that you’ve had an enjoyable holiday and have hopefully remained Covid free.

School will open tomorrow as normal and all Covid-19 health and safety arrangements that were in place before Christmas will remain in place for the foreseeable future, this will also include the addition of:

  • staggered lunches so that we can limit the number of children in the hall.
  • forming two bubbles, lower school and upper school

If as a family you have decided to test your child(ren) at home using the LFD tests and plan on testing before returning to school please follow the government guidance and act accordingly dependent on the result. Guidance states it is not recommended for children under the age of 5 to take part in LFD testing.

Children in Hummingbirds you no longer need to report your LFD test results to us, thank you once again for supporting us.

If your child is unwell or is self isolating due to contracting Covid-19 please can you inform the school office using the usual methods, phone the office, message via Parentmail or email covid@bawburgh.norfolk.sch.uk.

Finally, please can you remind your child(ren) on the benefit of good hand and respiratory hygiene, we want to keep our school open and as ‘normal’ for as long as possible, every little helps!

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning, gates will be open at 8.40am.

With best wishes

Carla Stedman
